Suicide prevention is a cause that is very close to my heart, so I practice suicide prevention advocacy through research, training & presentations, supporting local organizations, & community presence. As someone with lived experience and career knowledge, I know the crisis care continuum could stand some improvements. I strive for local & systematic reforms in crisis treatment, after care support, & suicidal ideation stigma. I specialize in implementing culturally responsive mental health care for Black and marginalized communities.
