Charity Black is a multidisciplinary artist and wellness professional whose career bridges creativity, advocacy, and community care. With a background in music, mental health education, and grassroots organizing, Charity has spent years cultivating programs and experiences that support Black communities through culturally responsive suicide prevention, youth leadership development, and creative wellness.
She is the co-founder of Emma’s Garden, an Indianapolis-based overall wellness business built on botanical care, herbal remedies and community organizing. Charity served as the facilitator and leader of the Indiana Black Suicide Prevention Task Force. Charity’s work has been featured through collaborations with community organizations, youth leadership summits, advisory boards, and statewide planning initiatives.
